Emma Collins Artist
Emma Collins is a South Australian–based contemporary figurative painter whose work examines the instability of identity and the nature of truth. At the core of her practice is an ongoing inquiry into the question “Who am I?”, explored through multiple lenses including philosophy, psychology, and spirituality. Originally trained in graphic design, Emma brings a strong sense of composition and visual architecture to her painting practice. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology, which informs her exploration of identity, perception, and the construction of the self. Her commitment to fine art deepened through the Milan Art Institute’s Mastery Program, where she refined a process that treats painting not as illustration, but as investigation. Alongside her studio practice, she facilitates The Inquiry Room, a space for shared philosophical exploration that extends her work beyond the canvas and into live dialogue. Her approach positions painting not as illustration, but as a tool for inquiry—creating works that function as mirrors, inviting viewers into direct encounter with themselves. Emma is open to collaboration. She is experienced in workshop facilitation, keynote speaking, curation and is an established artist.
