How it worked for businesses
For the modest investment of $50.00 businesses had their logo included on an 18-square table of local business logos in the 2021 YP Art Exhibition Catalogue. Participants obtained business stamps (on their logo branded ‘Sponsorship Square’) by making a purchase or visiting your store.
Business were encouraged to offer a special deal as an enticement into their premises (on the day or as a return visiter) for a stamp, such as:
Buy a coffee and receive a complimentary biscuit/cake;
Give a ‘voucher’ for 10% off future purchases;
Build your followers through receiving peoples email addresses or have them ‘Like’ your Facebook / Instagram pages;
Start your own ‘Loyalty Scheme’ i.e. stamps on your own business card for every ie $10 spent; or
Start your own ‘Lucky customer’ scheme where every twentieth customer instantly receives a ‘gift/special offer’ over the Easter long weekend.
In addition, all participating businesses were included in our 2021 Art Exhibition Catalogue to acknowledge their association with the Exhibition, and were featured in Social Media posts and Newsletters to drive visitors to their store and/or service.
How it worked for participants
Once four (4) or seven (7) stamps were collected, participants would go to one of the Exhibition venues (Ardrossan, Edithburgh or Yorketown Town Halls) and receive their complimentary Raffle Ticket(s) - depending on how many stamps they had collected. Six (6) business stamps granted two (2) Art Raffle tickets.
All Raffle Tickets went into the 2021 YP Art Exhibition Raffle Draw.
Results were be published on Yorke Peninsula Council’s website and in the Yorke Peninsula Country Times on Wednesday, 14 April 2021.
