Born in France, Dora-Ly is a lifelong creative whose journey has taken her across the globe. Her diverse experiences and academic background; including degrees in arts and literature, tourism, and winemaking – have each uniquely influenced her artistic vision. For the past seven years, she has called Australia home, drawing endless inspiration from its rich culture and stunning natural landscapes. Ocean Glaze Ceramics was born during a pivotal chapter in Dora-Ly’s life. While expecting her son Louis, she rediscovered her passion for ceramics through a refresher course. After his birth, she followed her creative calling and founded Ocean Glaze Ceramics; an expression of her artistry, love for handcrafted beauty, and the profound journey into motherhood. Her work reflects the serenity of the ocean, the strength of nature, and the ever-evolving experience of being both an artist and a mother.
